Today, the Egyptian Ministry of Health recorded 54 deaths and 1,577 new cases of coronavirus.
The ministry’s spokesperson, Khaled Mujahid, said that the total number of injuries in Egypt to date has reached 41,303 cases, including 1,422 deaths.
Mujahid pointed out that 417 of those infected with the virus were discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care, bringing the total of those recovered to 11,108 people.
