Guo Zhuojian said that his BOC account has been open for more than 10 years, but he has never tried to be frozen for political reasons. At present, Guo is unable to move the savings of about 8,000 yuan in the user's account, and has to borrow money from neighbors and friends to pay for his living expenses. He also stated that the only bank in Changzhou where he lived was Bank of China and HSBC. He had tried to apply for an HSBC bank account but was refused. After that, he would consider opening other bank accounts.
