Today, the Chinese National Health Commission announced the registration of six new infections with the newly borne Coronavirus in Beijing.
"In addition to the two confirmed cases that work at the China Meat Research Center in Fengtai district, they were reported yesterday, four new cases were also reported," Xinhua news agency quoted Bang Xinghuo, deputy head of the Beijing Municipal Center of Disease Prevention and Control, as telling a press conference. Noting that all four confirmed new cases visited the Xinfadi wholesale market for agricultural products in the Fengtai District of Beijing.
According to the government of Fengtai District, 139 people have been put in close contact with the new cases in the said neighborhood under collective medical observation.
Five cases of 19 covid were recorded in Fengtai district yesterday after DNA tests from external environmental samples related to confirmed cases.
The health committee of northeast China's Liaoning Province also registered two new symptoms asymptomatic of the disease caused by the new coronavirus, indicating that the two cases were in close contact with confirmed cases of the epidemic in Beijing.
Up to the moment, the province recorded 21 confirmed cases of corona, while all the injured were discharged from hospitals upon recovery, and two of the 128 cases locally infected with the epidemic were recorded.
In Shanghai, the provincial municipality's health committee announced that a newcomer had been infected with 19 Chinese nationals who left from Britain last month, passed through Sri Lanka and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
