The film's release had highlighted the young girl's difficult situation: since December 2019, Clémence was no longer in school. Her mother struggled tirelessly to find a facility that would suit her daughter, and that would not be " just child care." On May 29, his efforts were finally rewarded.
“In the morning, we visited a Montessori school which we really liked. We imagined Clémence very well there. And then a few hours later, we had a call that we had been waiting for years: that of the director of the Institut de Pédagogie Curative de Chatou in the Yvelines, ” says Agnès Hittin at Le Figaro .
Until his 20 years
From this month of June, Clémence will spend one or two days in the establishment. She will then be welcomed full time in September. "She's super happy," says her mother. “She knows the children who are there, and the establishment can welcome her until she is 20 years old. For us, the relief is enormous. Especially since all of our efforts had been stopped during confinement. "
A forced break finally welcome: “After months of research, it did us good. And Clémence had a very good confinement. What was difficult for her was to be alone at home all day: there, all her brothers and sisters were with her! ”
While waiting for the return to school, the family will go on vacation in early July. "We enjoyed Brittany so much, which we discovered during the filming of the film last summer, that we are going back!" , says Agnès Hittin. "A beautiful summer is looming, light, restful and above all joyful, far from all the worries that have been gnawing away at us for the past six months."
