Anthony Fauchi, chief expert on infectious disease control in the United States, warned that the large increase recorded by several US states in the number of new infections of Corona virus may be out of control soon.
"The United States is vulnerable to an increase in the number of injuries while lifting restrictions on economic activity," Fauchi told CNN, stressing that "any popular gatherings can be very dangerous" and lead to a rapid outbreak of the disease and a greater increase in the number of injuries.
"The high number of cases in American hospitals is a warning sign that you are in a situation where you are going in the wrong direction," Fauchi said.
And witnessed about six US states, an increase in the number of corona patients inside hospitals, where the states of Texas and North Carolina announced yesterday the registration of the largest number of patients who have been hospitalized since the outbreak of the epidemic.
The United States recorded 25,601 new cases of the Corona virus yesterday, according to Johns Hopkins University statistics, while the number of deaths from the disease reached 851 people in just one day.
To that, Oregon Governor Kate Brown announced that it will suspend the requests of some regions to lift the restrictions of isolation after the state recorded yesterday a record rise in the number of daily injuries, while Gary Herbert, the governor of Utah, yesterday ordered most of the state's regions to stop the measures to lift the restrictions after a big jump in the number of injuries.
US health experts have recently warned of a second wave of corona virus in several regions of the United States, with the number of deaths in the country exceeding 114,669 and the threshold of two million.
