A fire broke out in the warehouse of the Hagebau market in Freising on Saturday night. The cause of the fire was probably a technical defect in an e-scooter.
Freising - It was around 3:00 am when the fire alarm system in the Hagebau store in the Clemensingers raised the alarm on Saturday. When the fire brigade was on site, "not only were several differently triggered detectors displayed on the market, there was also a distinct smell of fire on the front of the building," says the Freising fire brigade's report. While the first responders went under surveillance, the integrated control center immediately raised the alarm level - a full alarm was finally triggered for both Freising guards.
In the camp, the Florian disciples were finally able to localize a genesis: "Several objects stored there had ignited for reasons not yet known, and the flames had spread to other packages already stored," writes the fire department. The Freising police suspect that the reason for the fire is a "technical defect on an e-scooter".
The fire brigade had the fire under control quickly, and the sprinkler system installed in the market had triggered. In total, the Freising fire brigade was on site for a good one and a half hours with ten vehicles and 35 men, and the ambulance service with two vehicles. No one was injured in the fire.
