Schongau - Divided into two groups, the e-youth football players of TSV Schongau adapt the ball. At the end of a pass combination, a player may shoot on goal. The young footballers are in a good mood. One ball after the other lands in the corners of the goal. Everything looks like ordinary soccer training, but two things are different than usual. Because of the corona-related requirements, the children have to keep a minimum distance of 1.50 meters. The Schongauer will also be recorded by a film team during their training session. In the end, the recordings of the "Filmbaar" agency from Schongau are to be used to create two videos - a clip of around 30 to 40 seconds and a three to four minute film. They are the culmination of the project “Mensch. Makes. Home. ”Of the Herzogsägmühle. "The short film should convey the message that integration is worthwhile and makes sense," explains project manager Ingo Massel.

Film is said to run in cinemas

When it is finished, those responsible want to go to cinemas so that the film can be shown there free of charge. "The longer version should give the actors a framework that made the film possible." This will also be seen on the websites of the project and the TSV Schongau.

The TSV e-youths are not the only ones that were filmed. Seven players from the men's team, as well as trainer Peter Mahl, field manager Karl-Heinz Schwarz and department head Hannes Waldmann were also able to demonstrate their talent in front of the camera. In addition to training sequences, interviews were also recorded.

The players are not without reason the football players of TSV Schongau. "The TSV - and especially in the football department - has been doing very good integration work for a long time," says Massel. "Those responsible take care." That goes right up to the private sphere.

Schongauer immediately agreed

"It is an honor for us that the project managers have approached us," says department head Hannes Waldmann. That is why the Schongauer agreed to shoot the video directly. A look at e-youth shows that integration is an everyday issue for TSV. The ten players come from seven different nations. Several migrants are also represented in the men's team with an Afghan, two Greeks and a Syrian.

During the individual interviews, the question became emotionally: What is home? "" We had to cancel an interview because the player had tears in his eyes, "says Florian Raab, owner of Filmbaar. The footballer had said that he can never go back to his home country, even if it will remain his home forever. For Raab and his colleague Thomas Ziegler, the filming was "a look behind the scenes", which once again made people aware of the social integration that clubs enable. The films are to be shown in late June / early July. The project, which is co-financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, then ends after around two years.

Thanks to the multi-billion euro stimulus package, Germany is expected to come out of the corona-related economic crisis with a “boom”. The reactions in the district are different.
