Today, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of six new infections with the Corona virus, in contact with people in the town of Ras al-Ma`ra in Damascus countryside, bringing the number of cases registered in Syria to 170 and the recovery of three new cases.
In a statement, SANA received a copy of it, the ministry indicated that the total number of injuries recorded in Syria was 170, of which 71 recovered, and 6 died.
The ministry subjected the town of Ras al-Maarrah to the quarantine on the seventh of this month after recording 16 cases of the virus in it as a result of contact with an infected truck driver working on the Syria-Jordan line in order to prevent the spread of the virus and to preserve public health and the safety of citizens.
The first case of Corona virus was recorded in Syria on the twenty-second of last March for a person coming from outside the country, while the first death was recorded on the twenty-ninth of the same month.
