The Syrian Association of Purebred Arabian Horses and Basil Al-Assad Equestrian Club in Hama, in cooperation with the Horse Bureau at the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, held the first periodic race of purebred Arabian horses for the current season, on the horse race track in the Equestrian Club in Hama.

The race took place over seven runs, and the horse Balqees Asim won his owner Riad Sowaidan in the first place in the first half of the Syrian horses fourth degree, while the Rosary of his owner Muath Al-Mahayni came in second place.

In the second half for the registered horses fourth degree, the horse won first place for its owner, Yahya Al-Mourad, and Sila Al-Shaham was occupied by its owner, Dr. Mohamed Al-Hazouri, second place, while the third half for the Syrian horses scored a fourth degree, he won the first place with the most open petition for his owner, Fayez Arida, while Habib Fahd came to his owner Qassem Qassem.

In the fourth half for registered horses, a fourth degree won by champion Nasr Al-Khair for its owner stables of goodness, while second place was occupied by Nasr Al-Fahhad for its owner Mounir Hefaya. As for the fifth half of pure horses for a third degree, he won the heroism of the presence of the ordinary for his owner Yamen Al-Hijali, and came in second place with horse owner Mahboob Ghazal.

In the sixth period for registered horses, a third degree, he won first place, a storm behind his owner, Akram Al-Khalaf. Secondly, Al-Mahayen responded to his owner Muath Mahayni, while he won the championship of the seventh half for registered horses, first class and second armies of the seven for his owner Ibrahim Al-Sabe.

The director of the Syrian Association for Purebred Arabian Horses, Mohamed Al-Wadi, explained to the Sana Sports correspondent that the race in which more than 50 horses participated is the first activity of this association that includes the establishment of nine races, the first of which was launched in Hama Governorate, and that the second will be held in Damascus on the 26th of this month, indicating that The precautionary measures approved by the government team to prevent corona virus by implementing the current race without an audience have been implemented.

Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Sports Federation branch in Hama Abdel Razzaq Zaytoun pointed out that equestrian is an important sport in the governorate where we will do what we can to support it and increase its spread, indicating that the establishment of speed races in the province has an important role in developing the game in the presence of many owners and breeders of horses In the province in addition to the availability of a large and civilized facility.

For his part, the director of the equestrian facility in Hama Abdul-Raouf Al-Khani said that the importance of this race lies in that it is the first in Syria this year, as it came after the application of the decision to return the activity to this important game, indicating that the race included seven runs and was successful in all standards as it was characterized by strong competition between riders Participants from different governorates did not know the winner, except in the last few meters.
