Deir Al-Zour City Council has started implementing a project to rehabilitate and beautify the median islands on Port Said Street in the city.
The head of the city council, Eng. Raed Mandeel, stated that the project to rehabilitate the central islands comes after the completion of maintenance and rehabilitation works of the road body and extending the asphalt shirt in it after it was exposed in the previous period to great damage due to terrorism, pointing out that it is one of the vital streets in the governorate, linking the west and east of the city on the one hand The south connects Deir Ezzor Airport with the rest of the neighborhoods.
The Director of Services and Maintenance at Deir Al-Zour City Council, Engineer Basil Sabaa Al-Deir, stated that the works include carrying out cleaning, pruning, planting and remodeling trees, restoring the concrete sides and painting them in the central islands that extend from the Dallah roundabout to the Harabash roundabout.
