The Bar Association in Latakia organized a national stand in front of the Judicial Palace building to denounce the so-called “Caesar’s Law” and a rejection of the unjust and coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people.
Ayman Shabani, head of the Bar Association in Latakia, said in a statement to SANA correspondent that today’s stand comes as an expression of the unity of the Syrians and their standing behind their leadership and their army in the face of all those who are trying to get from their country, stressing that the word law refers to frameworks and standards regulating societies and not as they claim through what is called Caesar's Law, which aims to fight peoples who refuse to submit and surrender and dare to defend their rights, lands and dignity.
Lawyer Ali Zarifa confirmed that this stand is a message to the whole world that the unfair and coercive Western measures against the Syrian people will not intimidate him and that the people who have been able to withstand more than 10 years in the face of terrorism will succeed in overcoming this difficult stage.
Hala Darwish and Wahbah Ali made it clear that Syria pays the price of its adherence to the national principles and its stand on the side of the just Arab issues, especially the Palestinian issue, and its support for the axis of resistance.
A number of participants also expressed their condemnation of the so-called Caesar’s Law, which came to complement the terrorist war waged by the colonial states through its tools against Syria to discourage it from its principled stances rejecting the policies of domination and colonialism.
