US Rep. And Defense Minister Benny Gantz on Monday addressed President Trump's peace program as part of a AJC virtual conference, the "Jewish-American Committee," working to strengthen US-Israeli relations and advance the interests of the Jewish people. 

During the conference, the Minister held an interview with Israel's CEO, Lieutenant Colonel (res.) Avital Leibowitz, addressing, among other things, the political opportunity presented by the Trump plan: "This is an important plan that presents a realistic approach to how to build a stable future in the region, and I mean We must work on the plan and do so in coordination with regional partners and of course with local partners, with consensus in Israeli society and with full coordination and support from the US, "the defense minister told conference participants. 

In addition, Gantz addressed the burning security issues and Lebanon's responsibility for quiet on its border: "Lebanon wants us to treat it as a sovereign and independent state, and as such it holds responsibility for what is happening in their region. We demand responsibility for everything that happens in the country; Hezbollah or any other organization, we will see in Lebanon responsible for everything, and it is also the one that will have to pay the price. " 

He added: "I am pleased that countries around the world, such as Germany, have already begun to recognize Hezbollah as a terrorist organization to act against and against bodies and people supporting it with the necessary sanctions. I expect more countries in the world to join in this important move." 

At the end of the conference, the defense minister thanked the organization and its contribution, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the relationship between Israel and Diaspora: "When we look at the Declaration of Independence, we say that the Jewish state was established in Palestine. This means that Israel is the national homeland of all Jews around the world. Conservatives, reformers or secularists - they are Jewish, no matter what stream they belong to, as I have stated before: "The Western Wall is large and long enough to accommodate everyone."
