Today, the health authorities in France recorded 29 new deaths from the emerging coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths to 29,436, which is the fifth highest number of deaths in the world, decreasing below thirty for the sixth consecutive day.
Reuters quoted the French government as saying that the number of hospital residents decreased by 129 to 10752, and that the number of those in intensive care units fell by 23 to 846, which means that these numbers continue to decrease for weeks.
The number of confirmed cases in the country increased to 157,372 from 157,220 yesterday.
