The deconfinement continues. From June 15, new cultural establishments in the capital are available. After museums, art galleries and gardens, here are five buildings in the four corners of the capital that welcome you again for regulated visits in strict compliance with health regulations.

After the parks and gardens, the terraces of restaurants and bars, culture continues its deconfinement in Paris. As we know, the reopening of more than a hundred museums, sites and monuments managed by the Center des Monuments Nationaux (CMN) throughout France, from the Arc de Triomphe to the Abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel, is spread out between the beginning of June and mid-July, said its president Philippe Bélaval on May 12.

Symbol of national unity, the Arc de Triomphe was regularly the rallying point for major historical events (return of the Ashes of Napoleon 1st, the funeral of Victor Hugo…). A place of memory and homage to the fallen soldiers for France, it shelters the body of the unknown soldier and every day at 6.30 p.m. veterans revive the Flame of Remembrance. Being able to enter it again is a bit of a symbol. Like a scent of renaissance for France after the terrible health crisis experienced by the French. The Arc de Triomphe, which usually welcomes 4,000 people every day, will only allow entry to a thousand visitors.

Medieval residence of the Kings of France which became a prison during the Revolution, the history of the building tells the story of France on its own. Philipe Auguste installed the seat of Capetian power there, then Saint-Louis built the Sainte-Chapelle, a jewel of Gothic architecture. Marie-Antoinette's last prison before the guillotine, the Conciergerie subsequently became the Palais de Justice. Located on the Ile de la Cité, the Conciergerie remains a high place of order and power.

For its deconfinement, the Conciergerie announces a reopening with new opening and closing times: daily from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm. Buying tickets online is strongly recommended at the E-ticket office of the Center des monuments nationaux.
