Health authorities in the Russian capital, Moscow, recorded 1359 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours, a decrease in infection rates from the previous two days in which 1477 and 1495 cases were recorded, respectively.
The Russia website today quoted the Russian Anti-Corona Virus Operations Center as saying in its latest data that 53 new deaths from the virus were recorded in Moscow yesterday, while the number of people recovering from the disease in the city rose by 1,549 cases to reach 123240 recoveries.
In the same context, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced today the transition to a new phase of easing restrictions that include opening the outer patios of restaurants and cafes in addition to the resumption of dental clinics in accordance with the usual system, starting tomorrow, Tuesday.
Russia had recorded 8,246 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours, while the number of deaths reached 143, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 537,210, and 7,091 others died.
