Egypt reaffirmed the need for a political solution to the crisis in Syria that respects its sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, noting that the Egyptian initiative to end the crisis in Libya is consistent with international and international efforts and initiatives.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, stressed during the video conference today entitled (Egyptian diplomacy .. dealing with current challenges) the need to reach a comprehensive political settlement in Syria in a manner that achieves the territorial integrity, territorial integrity, and integrity of its institutions and the complete elimination of terrorism.
On the other hand, Shoukry pointed out that the Egyptian political initiative to end the crisis in Libya is consistent with the existing international and international efforts and initiatives and aims to ensure equitable representation of all Libyan regions and unify their institutions.
Regarding the Renaissance Dam file, Shokry affirmed his country's commitment to the negotiation approach over the past years and its sincere intentions towards reaching a fair and just agreement for this crisis, considering that the recent negotiations do not herald the occurrence of positive results with the continuation of the "Ethiopian intransigence" approach, which will push Egypt to discuss other options such as asylum. To the UN Security Council to prevent Ethiopia from taking unilateral action negatively affecting Egypt's water rights.
