"A journalist from Lorraine Actu who was doing his information work on the ground suffered a perfectly unacceptable attack , " deplores the press group in a press release. "A man took him to task, quickly joined by a dozen people who insulted him, threatened physically, pushed and intimidated in order to make him leave the procession," the statement said.
Despite the intervention of a plainclothes police officer, the journalist had to leave the demonstration, he reports. The Publihebdos group "is once again worried about the proliferation of insults, threats, verbal or physical attacks on journalists" and indicates that it will file a complaint. This demonstration had gathered 550 people, mostly young, according to the count of the prefecture of Meurthe-et Moselle.
