The Tel Aviv District Court on Tuesday sentenced a 7-year sentence to a defendant for abusing his four daughters while underage. He was also convicted of minor assault offenses by a responsible person who causes actual injury, and assault in aggravated circumstances by a parent. The offenses were committed for 10 years, from 2007 to 2017.

The verdict revealed a mask of the defendant's continued abuse and violence towards his four minor daughters, which has been systematically and persistently occurring for about a decade in their home. The ruling states that since childhood, the complainants have been victims of physical, mental and emotional abuse by their father. It was further determined that it was a harsh and cruel abuse that turned the reality of the minor complainant's life into a chaotic, confusing and devastating reality, leaving deep scars to lie about their lives and accompany them for many years.

The defendant was convicted after conducting a lengthy evidentiary procedure, in four of five charges originally attributed to him, and acquitted of several other counts in the rest of the charges. The court ruled in sentencing that "the defendant in his actions sustained a serious and long-lasting injury to the personal - physical and mental safety of his four daughters, and to an end he crushed the sense of security and security they were supposed to feel inside their home - from their fort."

It also states that "the gaps in power, dependency, helplessness and need of children towards their parents, and the natural expectation that a home will be a place of security, a protected and supportive place, are the basis of the exacerbation of the law in examining punishments for perpetrators of child-parent relationships."
