Homs and Aleppo Electricity Companies joined the "Payments" system, and citizens of the two governorates can pay their bills electronically for these two companies.
The Executive Director of the Syrian Electronic Payments Company, Dr. Ayman Mallouk, stated in a statement to the SANA delegate that citizens who have bank accounts can pay the bills of basic services from electricity and fixed phone in Homs and Aleppo electronically through an application dedicated to that in the mobile or through the personal computer, explaining that the goal of This reduces the burdens on citizens.
Mallouk indicated that, two months after the launch of the service in the provinces of Damascus and its countryside, 117795 / bills with a total value exceeding 5 billion Syrian pounds were paid through the banks of Bemo Saudi Fransi and Al-Baraka and distributed to the Syrian Telecom Company by 7,283 operations and the Damascus Electricity Company and its countryside by 2601 operations And the directorates of transport 107911 operations.
The Syrian Electronic Payments Company launched last April electronic payment services for fixed and electricity bills in Damascus and its countryside, and all fees for the services of the directorates of transport in the governorates, by linking the issuers of bills and fee collectors on the one hand and operating banks on the other.
