Following Mandelblit's delay in responding to their demand to open an investigation into the leakage of the tapes broadcast on "The Source" television program on Network 13, Saul and Iris Alovitch petition the High Court demanding that the Attorney General investigate their claims.

Saul Alovich, the former Bezeq controlling shareholder, and his wife, Iris, who are accused of bribing Case 4000, are claiming illegal leaks over the case.

Attorneys Jacques Chen and Michal Rosen-Ozer, who represent the couple, have explained the decision to file the petition.

"After our inquiries were not answered by the Attorney General, Mr. Elovich and Mrs. Elovich had no choice but to petition the court," the lawyers said. "It is impossible, and must not be silent, against the flooding of illegal leaks that seek to make the trial a field trial while contaminating the legal process."
