Today, members of the Homs and Civil Defense Fire Brigade put out several fires that affected trees and agricultural crops in Homs and its countryside.
Colonel Othman Jouda, commander of the Homs Fire Brigade, told a SANA reporter that the fires erupted in agricultural crops and olive tree groves in the villages of Zanibel, Rawdat Al-Waar and Tal Al-Safa in the western Homs countryside, in addition to herbal fires in separate areas of Homs countryside.
Judah pointed out that the firefighting cadres dealt with two fires, the first near the garage in the city, which resulted in damage to some cars, and the second near the customs garage in the Baba Amr Bridge area, which worked to put it out immediately to prevent it from reaching the cars.
Juda pointed out that firefighting cadres were ready around the clock to put out any fire, calling on citizens not to throw cigarette butts on the roads or set fire to them.
The elements of the Homs and Civil Defense Fire Brigade yesterday put out 19 fires in the city of Homs and its countryside.
