The wounded hero, Lt. Col. Shanan, recounts the first moments of the injury, saying that when the injury occurred, my comrades tried to move towards me to save me, but I refused to intervene in order to prevent them from exploding another mine. I tore a piece of my clothes and bound my legs, and then I crawled to a safe place where I was treated to Al-Suqilabiyya Hospital in Hama and later to a hospital Tishreen military in Damascus.
“Son is dear, but the homeland is more precious.” With these words, Noufah Nasr, the hero’s wounded mother, began her conversation with the SANA reporter, who presented one of her sons, the struggle of Shanan, as a martyr in defense of the homeland during this terrorist war against Syria. She said that she accompanied the long journey of treating her son. The dearest possession for the sake of the homeland, pointing out that Asim never experienced despair and was always confident and optimistic about Syria’s victory with the sacrifices of its people and the steadfastness of its people.
Ismat Shannan, the hero of the wounded hero, expressed his pride in the sacrifices made by his brother Assem in defense of the homeland, saluting the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army, while Shafiqa Nasr, the maternal aunt of Assem, and a number of his villagers confirmed that they are the descendants of the Mujahid Sultan Pasha al-Atrash, they will remain in their covenant by making all the sacrifices for the sake of pride and dignity Syria expressing their hope that all the Syrians ’homes will be filled with joy in complete victory over the enemies.
