Today, the National Fund for Social Aid launched a digital channel for registering the demobilized from the compulsory and reserve science service who wish to benefit from the second phase of the program to support and empower the demobilized, which started registration in the Fund's branches and centers in the governorates on the ninth of this month and will continue until the sixteenth of next July.

In a statement to the SANA delegate, the Director General of the Fund, Eng. Louay Al-Aranaji, stated that the aim of launching the channel is to facilitate the process of registering the program in an electronic manner around the clock and to fill in the necessary data on the responsibility of the theater and reduce pressure and congestion in the centers and branches of the fund, indicating that the theater who registered directly through the Fund's branches and centers in The past days have entered their data manually while the rest of the demobilized can register via the digital channel, which is easy to access through an electronic application on mobile phones.

Al-Aranaji pointed out that it is necessary to enter data accurately and review every statement, whether it is text or number before moving sequentially to the entry of other data, indicating that every theater after completing the electronic entry should review the center or branch of the National Social Aid Fund in its place of residence to provide a copy of the identity Personal and service delivery document and signing a written commitment regarding the conditions for benefiting from the program, indicating that the registration process directly in the centers and branches of the fund in the governorates will also be available.

According to Al-Aranaji, the number of registered demobilized people to benefit from the second stage of the program to support the demobilized from the mandatory and reserve science service since the beginning of registration at the branches and centers of the National Fund for Social Aid in the governorates on the 9th of this month until today has reached 11808 demobilized.

Al-Arnaji pointed out that he benefits from the laid-off program who spent five years or more in the compulsory and reserve knowledge service and those who have been demobilized as a result of the injury during the war operations, regardless of the period of service, and do not receive any full or partial salary and the theater who missed the opportunity to register in the first stage of the program.

The program includes the delivery of monthly bonuses worth 35 thousand Syrian pounds for a year that will be suspended if the beneficiary of the program gets a job opportunity in the public sector, according to Al-Arnaji, noting that the empowerment aspect of the program includes free vocational training courses to raise the capabilities and skills of beneficiaries and facilitate their access to the labor market in The public and private sectors, or granting subsidized or interest-free loans to establish small projects.

Al-Arnaji said more than 36 thousand theater have benefited from the first stage of the program, stressing that the data of the demobilized will be checked with the concerned ministries after the end of the registration period in the second stage to determine the names of the beneficiaries.

It is noteworthy that the Board of Directors of the National Fund for Social Aid decided on the third of last March to continue the program to support and enable the demobilized to serve the science, which was approved by the Council of Ministers on the tenth of February last year to accommodate all the laid down and receive new beneficiaries periodically.
