The number of deaths from the emerging coronavirus around the world today has risen to more than 439,000, according to the US website World Meters.

According to the site, the total number of deaths from the virus was 439,755, the number of infected people was eight million and 142,604, while the number of people recovered reached four million and 253,403.

In this context, the Iranian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 2563 cases and 115 new deaths from the virus during the 24 hours, noting that the total number of people infected with the virus reached 192432, while the number of deaths reached 9659.

In turn, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced the registration of 5 deaths and 527 new cases of coronavirus, taking the total deaths to 303 and infections to 36,958.

The Afghan Ministry of Health also announced the death of 13 people and 793 others infected with the virus during the past 24 hours, taking the total deaths to 491 and injuries to 2631.

In Belgium, the total number of HIV infections has reached 60155 cases so far, after 9663 new cases were recorded, while four people died during the past hours.

In the Netherlands, the total number of deaths so far reached 6070, an increase of 5 deaths from yesterday, and a total of 49087 injuries, an increase of 140 new cases.

To that, a British study stated that 350 million people all over the world are at high risk of infection of the emerging coronavirus and it will require hospitalization.

The results of the study, which was conducted in 188 countries according to age, gender and health status and published by the British scientific journal The Lancet, showed that 1.7 billion people, or 22 percent of the world's population, have at least one risk factor that makes them more vulnerable to the acute epidemic, calling on governments to provide protection for people. Those most at risk of contracting HIV and being socially spaced or prioritized when conducting future vaccination campaigns.
