TRIBUNE - Let us dare to say that this long general confinement was a serious fault to the prejudice of the private sector and the self-employed, argues the business banker Philippe Villin.


On March 16, Mr. Macron confined us, inviting us to read and promising us the absence of bankruptcies. A decision taken in a panic on the diktat of the "scientists", for lack of masks and tests, and for want of using town medicine and confining only those at risk.

This general confinement was accompanied by a discourse of sanitary terror and the establishment of a quasi-police state to convince and oblige the French to "put themselves in prison at home", while they were anesthetized in their guaranteeing their income and promising them no economic consequences for them.

The outcome of this blind confinement is apocalyptic. The French and the economy were paralyzed by fear distilled every evening by the half-masters declaiming their odious litany of the dead. Nothing has been said about the progressive control of the epidemic, nor about the supposedly increased means (respirators) to fight it, all in a totally confused "scientific" discourse
