A drunk biker killed himself in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday at Plessis-Robinson (Hauts-de-Seine) while police tried to arrest him after a refusal to comply, AFP learned Thursday from concordant sources.

Around 2am, the 28-year-old man tried to escape control in Châtenay-Malabry and was chased by two bikers, police told AFP, confirming information from the Parisian. According to the Nanterre prosecution, the officials lost sight of him for a few minutes and then, when they found him, saw him hit a border and lose control of his craft at a crossroads in Plessis-Robinson. He died around 2:30 am despite an attempt to resuscitate the firefighters, according to the police source.
Toxicological analyzes revealed that he had "2.2 g of alcohol" per liter of blood, the same source said. Unknown to the police, the man, owner of his big engine, was otherwise in good standing. The investigation was entrusted to the IGPN, the police force, which heard the officials immediately after the facts. The Service for Judicial Accident Treatment of the Directorate of Neighborhood Security of the Paris agglomeration was co-seized.
