Attorney Avigdor Feldman, who previously represented Suleiman al-Abid, who was released yesterday (Wednesday) after 27 years in prison, after being convicted of rape and murder of a kikus spear, announced that he intends to pursue a retrial for al-Abid.
According to him, the case of Al-Abid is: "A bleeding wound in the Israeli judicial system. It is a negligent investigation, from beginning to end, and it must be remembered that he was sentenced five times, and in the fifth trial he was convicted of murder and rape. ".

It should be noted that al-Abid himself argued in court that the confession was taken from him by improper means, and that there was new evidence to justify a retrial. Today, al-Abid said: "Even the Kikus family believe that I am not the murderer of their daughter Spear. I did not murder the girl. I did not do that. I will fight to the end to have a retrial," he said.
The case reached the door of the Supreme Court, which, in an expanded nine-judge panel, convicted al-Abid of the murder of a kikos spear and sentenced him to life in prison.
