  • Since February 18, 2019 , there was no trace of the then 15-year-old Rebecca Reusch .
  • The girl's brother-in-law was considered suspicious for a long time . Meanwhile, the arrest warrant against Florian R. has been lifted.
  • A photo from an anonymous source gives the family new hopes .

Berlin - Rebecca Reusch has been  missing since her disappearance in February 2019  . Now her family has new hope through a photo that suddenly appeared . As picture reports, it shows a girl who looks very similar to the missing person.

"We see a clear similarity and think that Becci could look like this today," said mother Brigitte Reusch of the picture  (behind the pay barrier). The parents' lawyer, Khubaib Ali Mohammed, submitted the photo, which the family had received from an anonymous source, to the prosecutor's office . "We have requested that an anthropological report be prepared," said the lawyer. In February 2020, Ali Mohammed, who was also a victim lawyer in the NSU trial , made serious allegations against the investigators.

"I got the photo sent via Instagram. When I saw the picture, my heart started to beat faster, I thought, can this be? It was the same with the others, I had written to my friend right away and she also asked, can that be, is that Becci? "Explains Brigitte Reusch RTL

In her opinion, the hair and the two "strokes on the neck" could be their Becci, only the nose let the family doubt something. "So there are several factors where you can say: yes it can be," the mother of the missing person said hopefully in the conversation
