Health reality vs. economic reality. More people's needs. That, divided between the city and the most important urban cordon of the country. That they are two, but they are one. Managed by officials of opposing forces. The national government must move on this complex scenario every time it decides on a policy on the AMBA , the unofficial province that became "the" key territory with the coronavirus pandemic. And as a further input, the consultants that measure for the Casa Rosada are bringing data on the social humor of those neighbors.

Clarín now agreed to a survey that Analía del Franco did , who has been working with Alberto Fernández since the campaign. And more: for years it measured for the Kirchner governments. The new poll, they clarified in the signature, was not expressly requested by the national administration but it did arrive at its offices.

The study, of 700 online cases collected between June 12 and 14, and with a 3.7% margin of error, starts with an interesting table about "the main problems in the country." Three facts to highlight :

1) There is an almost exact parity between health concerns ("The current Coronavirus pandemic", 30.8%) and the economy ("Lack of work / unemployment / suspensions", 30%).

2) Among the economic problems, fear of employment grows  (30%) more than inflation (17.4%).

3) " Corruption of public officials" is still in the top 3 and is one of the symptoms that shows that the crack is in force (it is usually chosen by Macrista voters).

Then, the survey enters one of the most sensitive and currently debated topics: quarantine. While cases in the metropolitan region continue to increase , and concentrate more than 90% of the country's daily total, there is relative good news for Fernández: most continue to support the continuation of the restrictions.

When asked by the pollster, 35.8% said they were "very much in agreement" and 36.6%, "in agreement" with the decision to maintain quarantine in the AMBA. Between the two they exceeded 72 points of support , against 26.5% of disagreement (of that total, 6.5% "strongly disagree").

In any case, this context of endorsement does not take pressure off : when it was specifically investigated what type of quarantine Buenos Aires and Buenos Aires citizens want, 50.4% chose to "maintain themselves, but with flexibilities" and another 17.4% claimed "to open up as much as possible possible". The most satisfied with the current situation, 31.5%, chose "to remain unchanged". Completed 0.8% of "ns / nc".

Although it is not a generalized or radical demand for openness, it occurs in a setting where the debate goes in the opposite direction . Today, especially due to the impulse of the Province (where the contagion curve shot up the most) and with the support of the Nation, the discussion is how much to close or at least how to reduce circulation.

Chapter mayors

Analía del Franco's poll has a final chapter for a handful of GBA Peronist mayors. The analyst periodically measures for some of them. In this case, the image of seven communal chiefs was evaluated. They were located like this:

1) Juan Zabaleta , from Hurlingham: 59.2% positive and 13.7% negative.

2) Federico Achával , from Pilar: 58.4% positive and 25.6% negative.

3) Fernando Gray, from Esteban Echeverría: 55.4% positive and 25.3% negative.

4) Lucas Ghi , from Morón: 52.5% positive and 31.4% negative.

5) Martín Insaurralde , from Lomas de Zamora: 46.5% positive and 32.3% negative.

6) Fernando Espinoza , from La Matanza: 43.4% positive and 42.8% negative.

7) Gustavo Menéndez , from Merlo: 42.5% positive and 41.3% negative.
