Under the title The Piece in which it happened , this chronicle of the seventeen months spent by John Bolton at the White House is due to be published on Tuesday. Bolton confirms the charges against Trump in the “Ukrainegate” case, which prompted the impeachment proceedings launched against him last September. He claims to have tried a dozen times to persuade the president not to suspend the military aid that Ukraine needed in its war against the pro-Russian separatists in Donbas, and to have opposed the "traffickers agreement
