California: wearing a mask will be mandatory

In California, Governor Gavin Newsom announced that it will be mandatory to wear face masks in closed public spaces. While in Oregon, Governor Kate Brown mandated the use of face masks in at least seven counties. North Carolina and Arizona are considering imposing similar measures. These four states, along with Alabama, Nevada, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and Florida report the highest average number of infections in a week. Florida in particular saw a 110% increase in cases and could become the next epicenter of the pandemic in the country.
