“ Four people are infected. We do not have elements at this stage which would make think of a large cluster. As a precaution, we have launched a wider screening of site employees , ”said the director of cabinet of the ARS Center-Val de Loire, Christophe Lugnot.
The screening campaign, led by the ARS and the Orléans Regional Hospital Center, started on Friday and should continue until Monday at the waste recycling and recovery site, said Luc Petit, director of Territoire Center , at Veolia.
" 152 employees were tested on Friday and around 280 will be tested in all, " he said. “ One of our employees went to a funeral on June 6. He was informed by Social Security on the 12th that he had been in contact with infected people. (...) Between 8 and 12, he went to the office and contaminated three close employees , "said Mr. Petit.
