Lebanese: Forced measures against Syria violate international laws

The Grand Mufti of Jaafari in Lebanon, Sheikh Ahmed Qablan, renewed his condemnation of the unilateral, coercive American measures imposed on Syria, especially the so-called “Caesar’s Law”, stressing that it violates all international laws and norms.

Qablan said in today's speech: “What we suffer from today in Lebanon and Syria is because of Washington's dominance, which insists on achieving its inhuman interests and priorities, even at the expense of exterminating entire peoples and nations in order to achieve economic interests that lie beyond the oceans,” noting that “the Caesar’s Law” extends The very essence of the Syrian Arab people, their medication and needs, is the same policy that Washington pursued in trying to subjugate Lebanon.

In turn, the deputy head of the Supreme Shiite Islamic Council in Lebanon, Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, called for activating cooperation and coordination relations between the Syrian and Lebanese governments and friendly and brotherly countries to confront the American measures and the so-called “Caesar’s Law”.

Al-Khatib said in a speech today: "American sanctions against countries that are dependent on subordination and submission to foreign dictates and pressures are aimed at implementing the (Deal of the Century) and bringing the region into a quagmire of sedition and turmoil in the service of expanding the circle of Zionist settlement in Palestine and the occupied Syrian Golan."

In turn, Sheikh Hassan Sharifa, Secretary General of the Endowments in the Supreme Islamic Shia Council, warned of some statements in support of the “Caesar’s Law” and said that “these statements are like helping the executioner himself because Syria's enemies are Lebanon's enemies and Palestine's enemies and what harms Syria harms Lebanon” and this is part From the policy of separation pursued by the American administration to serve the entity of the Israeli occupation and retaliate from the axis of resistance and resistance.

For his part, the Lebanese scholar Ali Fadlallah asserted that the so-called (Caesar’s Law) is far from the norms and laws that govern states and said: “No country, no matter how big and high, has increased its capabilities to punish or besiege another country that is a member of the United Nations.” Until Syria represents the lung from which Lebanon breathes.
