The tragic death of George Floyd has created a dynamic which has turned political life in Western societies upside down. In particular, it has given new life to a movement that was considered eccentric a few weeks ago by calling for the abolition of the police, or at least for its funding and disarmament. It already has effects in several other American cities, and in the most famous newspapers like the New York Times , there are texts which plead for this cause. The good bourgeoisie likes nothing so much as to give itself a transgressive thrill by singing the praises of those who intone revolutionary tunes and want to make war on it.
