Biden adapts its convention to the demands of the covid-19, Trump no 0:44
(CNN) - President Donald Trump's campaign began on Thursday that there are more debates with former Vice President Joe Biden than the traditional three before the election in the United States.
The effort, which is being led by none other than former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, is the clearest evidence so far that, despite all his public bravado, the President knows he is losing right now. .

Remember that, just last December, Trump contemplated being completely out of the election debate season.
Biden's campaign doesn't play along.
"We are not going to ride the roller coaster of the Trump campaign's ever-changing position on the debates, nor are we going to be distracted by its demands," Biden's deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield said in a statement.
So how do we get from there to here? Simple. Trump's political fortune has declined significantly in recent months, and his irregular handling of the protests that erupted in the wake of George Floyd's death last month crumbled his poll numbers.
The reform of the Trump police does not conform to own or others 1:45Trump's approval rating on the Gallup data registered a double-digit drop in recent weeks, and a slew of state and national polls show him behind Biden by significant margins.
It is not a coincidence at all that, in the face of those numbers, the Trump campaign has reversed its position on the debates.

Conventional political wisdom indicates that the candidate driving the most debates is the candidate who is falling behind. That person needs discussions to create a moment (or moments) that can change the momentum and trajectory of the contest.
That person is usually not the owner. Challengers generally push for more debate because they need a forum to pull off the big blow that can turn things around.
And so it's very telling that Trump now finds himself needing more than the three standard debates. It means that the President does not believe he is winning at the moment, and does not necessarily see a way to victory without further debate.
The point: Ignore what Trump says and tweet about how good his reelection bet is. This push for more discussions says more than a thousand of those tweets.
