The Director of Agriculture, Engineer Ragab Salama, stated in a statement to a reporter to SANA that the barley harvest operations that started in the middle of last month ended, stating that the production was generally good and the productivity per hectare varied from one region to another due to the difference in the rates of rain precipitation and the non-stress of lands by successive crops and the type of seeds used pointing to Production ranged between 1.5 and 2 tons per hectare.

It is noteworthy that the total cultivated area of ​​the irrigated barley crop in Hasaka amounted to 24 thousand hectares and Baal barley 333 thousand hectares, while an area of ​​approximately 7 thousand hectares was out of production as a result of fires.
