The governor of Santa Fe, Omar Perotti, assured this Saturday that his proposal to achieve Vicentin's intervention through the courts is "beyond the expropriation" that the national government was initially seeking.
"The objective is to rescue the company. Alberto Fernández said that if there were overcoming alternatives, he would listen. The businessmen wanted state intervention, that they take a stake in the company. So we decided, after long discussions with the President , that an option was to present ourselves, request judicial intervention and from there begin the rescue within the company law and bankruptcy law. It is an overcoming tool, "said Perotti.
In dialogue with Radio Miter , the provincial president revealed that the issue "is now in the hands of the Reconquista judge" and that, if he receives the go-ahead, "obviously there would be no expropriation . "
"Let's hope that the proposal is analyzed because it is solid enough. The province alone does not have the resources to implement it, so working with the national government is key. If the judge admits our presentation, three people are proposed to be appointed administrators and Gabriel Delgado would be in charge. He is someone knowledgeable and respected by the actors, who are waiting for a signal to give him a future perspective, "he explained.
