The head of the Buenosairean Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, and the Buenosairean governor, Axel Kicillof, agreed this Friday when warning that the quarantine in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA) will be toughened if necessary.

" We are not going to shake our pulse, " said Rodríguez Larreta, during the press conference he gave with Kicillof at the provincial government headquarters in La Plata.

For his part, the Buenos Aires president added that "if this continues, the measures will inevitably have to be tightened ." It is that both were concerned about the jump in the levels of daily infections.

Rodríguez Larreta and Kicillof agreed to create a technical table to carry out a more detailed follow-up on the effects of the pandemic. "We are going to make a composite indicator with several elements: use of beds, social mobility, evolution of infections, mortality," said the governor.

" We are going to continue working as a team, we talk, we exchange data every day, " said Rodríguez Larreta.
