The new coronavirus has killed more than 50,000 people in Brazil since the start of the pandemic, which has infected more than a million people in the country, the Health Ministry said on Sunday. The Covid-19 killed 641 more people in 24 hours in Brazil, bringing the total toll to 50,617, the ministry said.

Brazil is the second country most mourning the epidemic behind the United States where the virus has killed more than 120,000 people in more than 2.2 million cases.
