The Education Co-ordination Committee has formed the "Home-School Cooperation and Parent Education Task Force" and submitted a report to the Education Bureau in April 2019. The Education Bureau announced today that it is organizing a contest of "Parents' Children's Mind Is Positively Designing for Parents' Mascots", calling on the public to be creative and design goodwill ambassadors to represent the event. The mascots must promote correct parenting attitudes, gradually change the culture of excessive competition, and help Hong Kong students learn effectively and grow happily.

The competition is divided into kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and open group. Each group has one champion, five outstanding awards and ten merit awards. The winners will be awarded certificates and gift certificates. Guanya Season will receive HK$3,000, 2,000 and HK$1,000 gift certificates in turn; while the Excellence Award and Merit Award will have HK$500 and HK$100 gift certificates respectively.
