The head of the jihadist commando that carried out a deadly attack against the army in Kafolo, in the north of Côte d'Ivoire, has been captured, said Ivorian Defense Minister Hamed Bakayoko on Monday.
"The commander of the commando who carried out the action was taken yesterday" (Sunday), said the minister during a speech of tribute to the soldiers killed at the new Akouedo military camp in Abidjan, broadcast on his Facebook account.
