The joint meeting of Lebanese parties, forces, and national figures, and the alliance of Palestinian forces and factions, condemned the US unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria, especially the so-called “Caesar’s Law”.

The meeting stressed in a statement issued after its regular meeting today that the American “Caesar’s Law” is a declaration of war against the Syrian people and the peoples of the region, calling on Arab and Islamic peoples to close ranks in the face of the ongoing American conspiracy aimed at imposing dictations and domination.

The statement called on the United Nations and the International Security Council to condemn the "Caesar Law" and the plans of the Israeli occupation entity annexing parts of the West Bank in the context of implementing the so-called "deal of the century" and work to prevent them by all possible means.

The statement also condemned all forms of normalization with the Zionist enemy, stressing that the resistance is the only way to stop the American and Zionist conspiracies and liberate the land and the holy sites, noting the "legendary steadfastness" of the Palestinian people, the growing strength of the axis of resistance in the region, and Syria's victory over the global war imposed on it.

In turn, the political council of the Lebanese Democratic Party condemned the American coercive measures and the so-called “Caesar’s Law” targeting Syria.

In a statement issued after its meeting today, the council stressed its support for Syria and the axis of the resistance, stressing that the Western pressures that are practiced continuously and increasingly are doomed to failure.
