BRUSSELS - "Today's EU-China summit is an extremely necessary opportunity to move forward on all aspects of our cooperation". So on Twitter the president of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, underlining that during today's video conference "a series of topics will be discussed, from trade to climate action, from sustainable development to human rights, from digitalization and foreign policy to the response coronavirus ". The 22nd EU-China Summit, which kicked off this morning, sees the participation of von der Leyen and the President of the European Council Charles Michel on behalf of the EU. Representing China are President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang.
