The head of the Sarkat Watan movement in Lebanon renewed Jihad Zebian, his condemnation and rejection of the unilateral US coercive measures imposed on Syria, especially the so-called Caesar law.
Zebian asserted in a statement today that the aim of the American coercive measures is to tighten the blockade of Syria and Lebanon, which constitute an integrated social and economic unit.
Zebian stressed the importance of cooperation between Syria and Lebanon to thwart hostile plans targeting the two brotherly countries, calling for abandoning the losing bets, especially after the failure of the scenario of the terrorist war on Syria.
The Islamic National Congress also condemned the so-called "Caesar's Law", stressing that it represented a war crime and a crime against humanity.
In a statement, the General Coordinator of the Conference, Khaled Al-Sufyani, called for working to pursue and prosecute those who issued this law and whoever works to implement it before the international courts and all the specialized courts, stressing that the approval of the so-called Caesar Law is a miserable new attempt by Zionist and American terrorism to subjugate Syria and Lebanon.
