An earthquake of magnitude 7.5 affected this Tuesday the central south zone of Mexico with an epicenter in the state of Oaxaca , a place that in January of this year had already suffered a strong earthquake. The tremor was felt very strongly in CDMX, where the buildings had to be evacuated.

Although no material damage or victims were reported, people were very scared by the telluric movement. And many inhabitants of Mexico City took to the streets.

Likewise, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) delivered a tsunami warning for the coast of Mexico, with waves of up to 3 meters. The warning also reached Ecuador, where there could be waves of between 0.3 and 1 meter in height.

The alert also reached the countries of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru and the islands of Hawaii, Jarvis Island, Kiribati and Palmyra Island, with waves less than 0.3 meters.
