Chef Meir Adoni was the first of the leading chefs in the country to open kosher restaurants that do not fall short of non-kosher restaurants.
His two restaurants were considered the best kosher restaurants in the country. The French Foreign Ministry, which ranks the best restaurants in the world, has also rated Blue Sky and Lumina as the two best restaurants in the country regardless of Kosher. Gummio rated Blue Sky as a restaurant with the best service in Israel.
Lilach Sapir, CEO of Katit Group, said, "After eight years of operating our kosher restaurants at the Carlton Hotel, the hotel decided not to open the restaurants at this time. The seafood restaurant at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Jerusalem will open in a few months. "
Meir Sir's choice to open the restaurants at the Carlton greatly improved the hotel's image and put it on the international map because the restaurants were internationally renowned. My Lord will reopen the Berlin Night this week and within a few months the Sea Restaurant in Jerusalem. No doubt Sir's restaurants will be missing out on an audience looking for a high quality kosher culinary experience.
