Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina reiterated the rejection of the Israeli occupation plans to annex parts of the occupied West Bank.
Wafa news agency quoted Abu Rudeina as saying today that the Israeli occupation plans to annex parts of the West Bank with the support of the American administration are rejected, stressing that there is no alternative to establishing an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967 with Jerusalem as its capital.
On the twenty-fourth of this month, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called on the European Union, the International Security Council and the General Assembly of the United Nations to take immediate and urgent steps to stop the settlement occupation plans and recognize the Palestinian state.
