The Hong Kong Government gazetted it at 11:00 midnight, announcing that the Hong Kong version of the National Security Law will be implemented in Hong Kong from 0:00 on July 1. The Hong Kong Celebration Committee (Celebration Committee) today (1st) held the opening ceremony of "Celebrating the 23rd Anniversary of Hong Kong's Return to the Motherland" singing the national anthem and float parade in front of the Ferris Wheel in Central.

The kick-off ceremony started at 9:20 in the morning, and the guests attended included Li Zijing, who withdrew from the Liberal Party and switched to the New Democratic Party, Huo Qigang, the current vice chairman of the Hong Kong Association and the Olympic Committee, and Zhong Zhentao and Kwong Meiyun, high-profile supporting artists. The national anthem was sung and no lions were celebrated after the finishing touch. The bus floats to Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories. There are more than 100 fishing boats flying the national flag, regional flag and "He Guoan Legislation" themed banners, departing from Aberdeen to Central Pier.
During the parade, many citizens waved national flags on the street, interacted with the people on the float, and chanted the slogan "Long live Hong Kong, I love Hong Kong".
