Is Iran building ballistic missiles that will allow it to hit targets in deep Europe? According to a US military news site publication, that may seem like a very positive answer.

The "Breaking Defense" website of the well-known Internet group "Breraking Media" published a comprehensive investigation Tuesday that documents documented from the Tehran satellite launch project suggest that it could develop or use missiles to hit most areas of Germany, Poland, Greece and France .

Officially, Tehran claims its long-range military missile is the Sejil, whose range of impact is about 2,000 miles. Sufficient range to hit all areas of the State of Israel, Egypt, the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia, but not to damage European countries.

In extensive work using materials that the Iranians themselves have published on their space program and data from elsewhere, the expert team, including a senior professor from one of Europe's most regarded military academies, has been able to assess what the range of the new missile generation hit by Tehran might be.

Experts estimate that at a maximum orbit, with a small warhead weighing only 650 pounds, the range of the new missile generation, known as "Kassad," stands at 3,337 km, putting cities such as Prague, Berlin, Warsaw and Copenhagen in the Iranian missile range.

Experts emphasize that the technology is in Tehran's hands but there is still no clear sign that Iran has converted the Qassad missiles for military use or that it is developing new ballistic missiles. However, upgrading the rocket fire vehicles that the Revolutionary Guards recently carried out may serve as evidence that such a program exists. In the past, Iran has insisted that its ballistic missile program is self-defense and not negotiable.
