The Israeli occupation continues its crimes against the Palestinians by killing, displacing, demolishing homes and seizing more lands, but it will not be able to undermine their resolve, their steadfastness, their adherence to their rights, and their uprooting of their land. Spokesman for the Palestinian Presidency Nabil Abu Rudeina reiterated the rejection of the Israeli occupation plans to annex parts of the West Bank, stressing that there is no alternative to establishing an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967 with Jerusalem as its capital.
Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh stressed that the Israeli annexation plans represent a threat to the Palestinian presence and regional security, and that the occupation systematically tries to end the possibility of establishing an independent, geographically related Palestinian state, calling on the international community to pressure the occupation to stop its expansionist settlement plans.
The Fatah movement said that the implementation of the annexation plans means the end of all the efforts of the international community in working to stabilize the region and the world and undermine the role of the United Nations and the Security Council, stressing the necessity of unity of the Palestinian ranks and confronting all occupation plans until the liberation of all Palestinian lands and the attainment of legitimate and inalienable rights.
The Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative, Mustafa Al-Barghouthi, stated in statements to a Sana correspondent that the annexation plan is the most dangerous in the history of the Palestinian issue since the Nakba in 1948 and its implementation will not leave any horizon for an independent Palestinian state, pointing out that who kills the Palestinian dream of establishing their state is Netanyahu and the American administration that supports him.
Al-Barghouthi stressed the need to unify the Palestinian ranks and adopt a national struggle strategy to confront and foil the plans of the Israeli occupation.
The Secretary-General of the Palestinian People’s Party, Bassam Al-Salhi, made it clear that the annexation scheme is not related to a day or days as it promotes the Israeli occupation, but rather is a racist colonial scheme that threatens the Palestinian presence, which requires expanding popular resistance to it and all the occupation’s plans in order to thwart it.
Al-Salihi called on the Arab regimes to stop normalization with the occupation, which he finds in its rushing to him a way to steal more of the rights of the Palestinians. He also called on the international community to work to curb the crimes of the Israeli occupation, which he commits with a green light from the American administration.
The coordinator of the Popular Committee to Resist the Wall and Settlement Salah Al-Khawaja pointed out that the Israeli annexations have not stopped since 1967 through settlement, Judaization and the apartheid wall that devoured 19 percent of the area of the West Bank, pointing out that the new annexation scheme is one of the most dangerous plans aimed at liquidating the Palestinian issue, as the occupation will seize Under it, over 75 Palestinian villages and towns in the first stage and dividing the occupied West Bank into 176 isolated areas, with the aim of cutting off communication between Palestinian cities, villages and towns to prevent the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital on the 1967 borders.
A member of the Central Committee for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Jamil Mezher, explained that the Palestinian people are united in the face of this conspiracy and will ignite the uprising of anger, and that the conspiracy aimed at liquidating their legitimate rights will not be passed, indicating that the resistance and steadfastness of the Palestinian people will drop Israeli annexation schemes.
Member of the Central Committee of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Mahmoud Khalaf, explained that the annexation plan represents the chapters of a new catastrophe through the seizure and dismemberment of Palestinian lands, stating that there is a road map adopted by the Palestinian resistance forces to address the occupation aggression and its colonial plans supported by the American administration.
Khalaf stressed that the Palestinian people will rise up against the occupation and ignite a third intifada, as it is the only option to drop the annexation schemes, calling on all the freedom of the world to support the Palestinian people in confronting the annexation scheme by imposing sanctions on the occupation and isolating it in international forums.
The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced his intention to implement the annexation plans during the month of July by seizing large areas of the West Bank and establishing thousands of settlement units on them and restricting the Palestinian presence in small areas with the aim of ending any opportunity to establish an independent Palestinian state geographically connected with a green light from Washington, which thwarted several Draft resolutions within the UN Security Council to condemn the practices and crimes of the occupation.
